A single USB port can be used to connect up to 127 peripheral devices including keyboards, mice, scanner, printer and modems.

USB connectors provide both series A and B receptacles, which are designed to meet the demand for smaller, more reliable I/O interconnects, while providing shielding and board-locking features.
